Calibration and validation of creep and shrinkage models requires comprehensive data sets covering sufficiently long loading and drying time periods. So far the largest collection of creep and shrinkage laboratory data and multi-decade structural observations has been compiled at Northwestern University. It is freely available from the following sites:

download creep and shrinkage database
download bridge deflection database

Evaluation of creep compliances and shrinkage strains based on advanced models can be facilitated by various tools:

  • Model B3 creep design aid program
  • simple interactive tool by Jan Stránský (Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic)
