Overview of micro-elasticity theories with emphasis on gradient elasticity
Prof. Exadaktylos will present two lectures constituting a mini-course in which various generalized continuum theories will be introduced and compared and their applications will be presented. Each lecture will take about 75 minutes and will be followed by an extensive discussion. Questions during the talk are also encouraged. Detailed abstracts, long lists of references and some recommendations regarding preliminary reading are available as separate pdf files, see below.
