The general node-cut and element-cut strategies for explicit time integration schemes have been formulated. Particularly, general support for nonlocal constitutive models has been considered. The implementation into a general object oriented finite element code has been based on message passing concept. The attention has been focused on the design and implementation of inter-partition data exchange. The described strategies can be easily implemented into any existing explicit finite element code. The described approach is demonstrated on structural analysis of 3D specimen on heterogeneous SP2 parallel machine.
