Numerical Modeling of Failure

On 19-23 June 2000 I gave an advanced course in Munich in collaboration with several colleagues.

The following presentations were used during the course:

• Comparative study of the performance of various constitutive models in fracture simulations.
• Adaptive analysis of a three-point bending beam (nonlocal isotropic damage model).
• Adaptive analysis of a four-point shear beam (nonlocal isotropic damage model).
