- value of normal stress σx and σz and shear stress τzx,
- value of angle α between original coordinate system xz and rotated coordinate system x'z'.
Notice:
- stress states mutually rotated by 180° equals each other,
- rotation of maximal normal stress σ and rotation of maximal shear stress τ differ by 45°,
- for principal directions (directions where one normal stress σ is maximal on the other is minimal), shear stress τ always vanishes,
- for direction of maximal shear stress τ, both normal stresses σ equal each other and have value equal to the center of the circle.
