FCM: Failure in Composite Materials Through the Length Scales

The aim of this mini-symposium is to discuss recent models that simulate inelastic deformation and failure of fiber-reinforced composite materials at the macro (ply) and micro (fibre/tow) scales, and the associated homogenisation techniques. The materials under investigation include metal-matrix and polymer-matrix composites, with general micro-structures, and under quasi-static or dynamic loading.
